Our Bakery

The Medici Bakery in Normal is your town's premiere bread making location. With products baked each morning from scratch, you can be sure your bread is fresh and delicious. With recipes that have been tested and used at our Hyde Park location, the flavors that reach your mouth will make you come back for more. Our menu ranges from sandwich loaves for home, convenient demi loaves, muffins, cookies, bagels, desserts and, of course, our classic croissants. Come in and taste your way through our delicious creations!

The Medici Bakery in Normal would love to make you a part of our family. Regular bread and croissant orders and deliveries can be arranged, as well as special orders for any sort of gathering, party, or banquet. Cakes, tarts, or any dessert is right up our alley. Baked Goods

Croissants

Apple, Chocolate, Ham & Cheese, Plain, Spinach & Feta, Turkey & Cheddar

Bagels

A sourdough specialty. Chewy inside with a leathery crust. Varieties include plain, seeded, or cinnamon raisin.

Breads

Baguette Family

Baguette, baton, or demi baguette. A classic crisp crust with a beautiful light open crumb in a variety of sizes.

Challah

Traditional braided Jewish egg bread. We think this loaf makes a great French toast.

Ciabatta & Olive Ciabatta

A soft crusted free form Italian loaf with a light airy interior. Plain or garnished with olive oil and salt. Beautifully complimented by the addition of olives and herbs.

Cinnamon Raisin

This bread is rich with raisins without being too sweet. Inside you'll find the same filling as our "almost world famous" cinnamon rolls.

Conchas

Traditional Mexican-style sweet roll, rich with eggs. Plain or with a crunchy chocolate topping. Perfect to have with coffee.

Medici Buns

Our signature sandwich bun. Light and moist, yet substantial enough for our hearty burgers.

Multigrain & Multigrain with Raisins

A mild sourdough that supports the goodness of whole grains. Beautifully complimented by the sweetness of golden raisins.

Semolina Ring & Semolina Sesame Torpedo

A close textured Italian-style bread with a golden crust. Available plain or seeded.

Rye

A medium colored hearty rye, flavored with toasted caraway.

Whole Wheat Pan Loaf

A light textured whole wheat loaf enhanced by the crunch of cracked wheat. Perfect for toast or sandwiches.
